Social Prescribing is connecting people with useful services and groups with the aim of improving wellbeing and quality of life. We refer into Services that can offer things like befriending, help with getting shopping done, peer support groups, carer support, counselling, housing and benefits advice, or it can be more along the lines of social groups, volunteering, and much more.

We can work with anyone over the age of 18, and are funded to support people who are registered at GP surgeries within the Kent & Medway ICB (Canterbury and Costal)- Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay, and Faversham. We are a friendly bunch, so if you live outside these areas and need support, you can still contact us, and we will try to connect you up with the best service to help which is local to you.
